ABOUT NANCY HIRSCH LASSEN
Nancy Hirsch Lassen is a mixed media abstract artist living and working in New Orleans, LA. She graduated with a BA in painting from Newcomb College of Tulane University and worked in creative fields since 1975. For 30 years, Nancy owned a design store and studio and has continued to do interiors for nearly five decades. In 2004, when her daughter went away to college, she found her way back to painting in earnest.
Nancy has been represented by several fine art galleries and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions. Her most recent solo show was in October 2022 at the Sullivan Gallery in New Orleans, and she's now working toward a group show at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art in February 2024.

PAINTSPACE NOLA
In April 2023, she and her fiancée opened PaintSpace NOLA - New Orleans' premier art studio - where they bring international artists and students together for inspiration, camaraderie and learning. This was something she felt compelled to do for her fellow artists and the city of New Orleans. Nancy's work is now installed and available for purchase at PaintSpace NOLA.
